The thyroid gland secretes mainly T-4, which is not very active. Certain enzyme systems in the body convert T-4 to the active thyroid hormone, T-3. Meda-Stim helps in this conversion process.
Meda-Stim contains a proprietary mixture of L-Tyrosine, Glutamic Acid, Aspartic Acid L-Glutathione, sea kelp, magnesium, riboflavin, selenium, pyridoxine, thiamine, zinc and rubidium. Meda-Stim was designed to provide adjunctive support for the person who needs additional support with changing T-4 (thyroxin) to T-3 (triiodothyronine). You take Meda-Stim at 3-6 capsules per day in divided doses.
Meda-Stim was placed into the Biotics Research line because we found that in some cases, Thyrostim, even with additional selenium, was not always effective where a frank conversion problem was present.
